A few days ago, I was having a conversation with someone about their Data Platform; they were looking for advice and feedback on their “architecture.” This happens a lot, and here is how the conversation goes.
Our company is X size, and our data team consists of roughly Y people. Our tech stack consists of A, B, and C. We’ve been having problems with scalability and reliability, and D, F, and G break frequently. We aren’t happy with our setup and want something better. What should we do?
