Ok, we are going to do it. Talk about a topic that everyone agrees on but no one actually does. Kinda like going to the gym after New Year’s, losing ten pounds, or being nice to your inlaws. Keep dreaming my friend.

We all know you aren’t doing WAP (Write-Audit-Publish) in your data pipelines either. But, is the WAP pattern all it’s cracked up to be, can we accomplish the same thing in a different way? What gives?

Today that’s what we are going to do, talk about what WAP (Write-Audit-Publish) is, its benefits and drawbacks, and maybe look at some alternatives.
