Engineering Changes … PRs if you will … are the elephant in the room, no one wants to look them directly in the eye, they are there, take up a lot of space, and cause all sorts of problems, yet little time is devoted to them.
Also, there are probably few things more frustrating for anyone writing code than the dreaded PR process. I’ve worked in places where I would break in a sweat while my finger hovered above the Submit button. I’ve worked in places where I get PR crazy, doing a handful a day.
