One thing I find has been an advantage for myself over the years, especially early on in my career, is the “doing” part of learning. Sure, read a blog post, watch a video, whatever, but at some point, you have to pick up the proverbial keyboard and do something. Anything.
Doing is learning.
It doesn’t have to be fancy, you don’t have to build the next Apache Spark, in fact, I think this sort of mindset holds so many people back. It’s like going to the gym, the hardest part is putting your shoes on and taking the first step. It’s mental.
Today, we are going to take a page from our own book, and do just that. Learn something by doing.
